I challenge you. I challenge you to purchase an NES game called Athena. One day as I was scouring the local flea market, I came across this game. Athena was published and developed by SNK in 1986. It is a side scrolling platformer game.
It did not come with an instruction booklet (not that the game is hard to figure out, no) I just was curious about a story. You basically press start, and the game instructs you that you are in the, "World of Forest." Your play as Athena, some sort of girl warrior. She can gain an assortment of weapons which she takes from enemies, or finds them hidden in blocks.
So, I made it to the boss of the first level. I have tried many times to beat this boss and have failed. I would be curious to see what other people think of this game. Be assured it's a *real* stinker. But, just because a game is horrible doesn't mean that I will not play it, and try and beat it.
