If anybody else has played all the NES installments, how would you rank them?
For me it's IV>III>I>II. IV's a masterpiece with a more storyline-driven approach. Nearly equally brilliant, III is basically the blueprint for Dragon Quest IX's gameplay-centric... uh, gameplay. The first one was the first RPG I ever played for the NES, and I still haven't played the original version of II for more than half an hour. (By the time I was in full DQ Fanboy Mode, Dragon Warrior II was long gone; I only have the GBC version and I've never been able to finish it!)
