Debates Forum Guidelines
Purpose: To constructively debate the merits of opposing points of view regarding NES-related subjects.
Content that is appropriate for new topics on this board:
* Discussions determined to once and for all decide the number one entry for a category
* Discussions over Yes/No queries, such as “Was the NES the most influential console ever?”
* Discussions over classic NES debates such as best Mega Man game, quality of Metroid, etc.
Content that is inappropriate for content on this board:
* Insults
* Ad hominem arguments; in other words, attacks a person’s character rather than a point of view
* General “whoa hey stop it this is getting way out of hand” stuff
Please note that while I fully acknowledge that setting a forum up specifically for debate may be a rather bold proposition in light of the desire to avoid arguments, there is a significant difference between “debate” and “argument.” If you cannot discern the discrepancy, perhaps you should avoid this board.
