Hi! My name's Billy, I'm from Scotland and I met Nintendo Legend on Twitter. 
As a child of three or four years old (at the time), the NES belonged to my older brother, and I was never allowed to play it without his say so. It was a mysterious, mystical toy, unlike any of my other toys (WWF wrestling figures and Thomas the Tank Engine train sets).
We owned Super Mario Bros. Super Mario Bros 2. Super Mario Bros 3. And Duck Hunt!
Even at that very young age, I knew Super Mario Bros 2 was a very weird game, and the odd one out of the NES Mario trilogy (only actually learning about the whole Doki Doki Panic thing twenty years later).
The Angry Sun in Super Mario Bros 3 was the first genuinely 'scary experience' I ever had in gaming.
NES was my first experience of gaming. That's why I'm here.
